What do I do if there's a hosepipe ban in Malmö?

In the event of a hosepipe ban, the municipality's rules come before everything else. Your Runner always follows the applicable restrictions. During dry spells, it may instead be worth prioritising drip irrigation or watering less often but more deeply. Ask your Runner for advice suited to your particular garden.

Can I book and communicate with the Runner in English?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Many of our Runners in Malmö speak both Swedish and English, making it easy whichever language you're most comfortable with.

Do you cover the surrounding municipalities, or just central Malmö?

Accepted Answer

We cover the whole of Malmö and its surroundings, not just the city centre.

Question 4

Does the RUT deduction apply to garden help in Malmö?

Accepted Answer

It depends on which service is involved, not on where in the country you live. Most garden work, such as lawn mowing, weeding, watering and planting, qualifies for the RUT deduction. Transporting brush and garden waste to a recycling centre, however, does not qualify for the RUT deduction.

Question 6

Can I cancel if I change my mind?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the job is due to be carried out. Cancelling or rescheduling within 24 hours incurs a fee. If the job is booked for the same day, it unfortunately can't be cancelled. If you've hired a Runner but no longer want the help, it's your responsibility to cancel. If we don't hear from you in the chat, a cancellation fee of 199 kr may apply.
