1. TaskRunner takes good care of your data

TaskRunner is the data controller for your personal data processed within the Service, in accordance with this policy. You can always expect your personal data to be processed by us in a safe and fair manner.

2. Personal data collected about you

TaskRunner collects various types of information about you when you use the Service, partly depending on whether you are a Client or a Runner. It is therefore not necessarily the case that we will process all these types of personal data in your particular case.

• Account information. When you, as a Client, create a user account in the Service you need to provide your first name, last name, phone number, address and email. If you instead create a user account as a Runner, you also need to provide your personal identity number or coordination number, upload a portrait photo, and add a description of yourself. You decide the content of your own description. Remember not to include sensitive personal data or other personal information you do not want to make public. As a Runner you also need to set your task preferences, by specifying the categories of task that suit you.
• ID and passport information. During the registration process to become a Runner you need to upload a copy of your passport, or other valid ID, in the Service. These documents may contain several items of information about you, for example your first name, last name, personal identity number, nationality, place of birth, sex and height. This is required so that the provider of the Service's payment solution (Stripe) can register your account with them, which enables you to receive your payments through the Service.
• Qualifications. TaskRunner stands for quality and safety. When you apply to become a Runner you will therefore first need to tell us a little about yourself, through a phone interview or in person. No interviews are recorded. You can also submit a short video presentation instead.
• Card and bank information. If you, as a Client, pay for a task in the Service, your credit and debit card details will be collected (name, card number, expiry date and CVC/CVV code). As a Runner you will need to provide your bank details (IBAN) so that you can receive payment for tasks. As a Client you also have the option of saving your card details in the Service to make future payments easier.
• Information for RUT/ROT. When you, as a Client, want to make use of RUT/ROT for a service, you will need to provide information such as your personal identity number, property designation, apartment number, and the housing association's (BRF's) organisation number. This information is collected in order to make a RUT/ROT application to the Swedish Tax Agency.
• Task information. When you post a task you need to enter a short description of the task. You also need to state the address where the task is to be carried out. You must also either suggest a time and date or state that you are flexible about when the task can be carried out, and either suggest a price for the task or state that you are open to bids. You also have the option of uploading a picture for the task.
• Messages. You can communicate with others in the Service, including via a private chat and in the "questions and answers" for a task. You decide for yourself what information you want to share in messages to others. Remember not to include sensitive information or other personal information. Note that messages under "questions and answers" are publicly visible in the Service until the task has been assigned.
• Location information. If you enable the "Locate me" feature in the Service, information about your current geographic position will be collected.
• Ratings and reviews. After a Runner has carried out a task, the Client must give a rating in the Service, in the form of a "star rating". The Client also has the option of writing a review of the Runner. Ratings and reviews are visible to all users of the Service, so remember not to include sensitive information in reviews.
• Invitations. You have the option of inviting other people to try TaskRunner and thereby receive discount codes for yourself, as well as giving discount codes to the person you invite. TaskRunner will collect information about whether an invitation has been used or not. This information relates both to you, as the person who sent the invitation, and to the person you invited. • Device information. When you use the Service, device information is collected from your computer (or mobile device), such as your IP address, language, browser, operating system and screen resolution, as well as the date and time of your visit to the Service. This information is collected using cookies.

3. How your data is collected

• Information you give to us. Most information is provided to us by you, for example when you register your account, post a task, or interact with others in the Service. Providing information in the Service is voluntary. However, you must provide certain information in order to use the Service. For example, as a Runner you need to provide your name, contact details and other information when you register in the Service. You have the option of registering and logging in to the Service by identifying yourself with your Facebook account. In that case, TaskRunner will automatically obtain some information about you from Facebook. However, you will first need to approve this, and will then also be able to see all the types of information that will be obtained about you.
• Information collected in other ways. Sometimes information may also be collected from people other than you. For example, a Client may publish information in a review of a Runner. If you enable the "Locate me" feature in the Service, your location information will also be obtained from Google.

4. How your data is used

Your personal data is mainly used to provide, perform and improve the Service. TaskRunner processes your personal data for the following purposes, based on the following legal bases:

• To provide the Service. Your personal data will primarily be processed in order to provide you with the Service. For example, your personal data is used to connect you with other users in the Service, so that you can hire a Runner, make use of the RUT/ROT deduction, or take on tasks for a Client. Your personal data is also used to confirm your identity when you log in to the Service, and device information is used to ensure that the Service is presented in the best way for you and your device.
• To enable payments. Your card details will be used to carry out and administer your payments in the Service. This is necessary in order to provide you with the payment solution in the Service. Card information is forwarded to Stripe via Secure Socket Layer (SSL). Encrypted card details may also be saved to make your future payments in the Service easier. Encrypted card details are processed on the basis of legitimate interests, including TaskRunner's and Stripe's interest in offering you a user-friendly payment solution. All information is confidential and is never stored in any physical location.
• To administer discount codes. Your personal data will be processed to administer any discount codes you have in the Service. For example, information about invitations will be used to determine whether you are entitled to discount codes, and, if so, to deduct the discount from your next payment in the Service. This processing is necessary so that you can make use of any discount codes you have. You can read more about how invitations and discount codes work here.
• To assess you as a Runner. If you apply to become a Runner, your account information and information about your qualifications will be used to assess your suitability as a Runner. To be able to carry out tasks as a Runner you must also be at least 18 years old and have the right to work in Sweden. Your personal identity number (or coordination number) and your ID and passport information will be used to confirm this. This processing is needed to determine whether you should be permitted to carry out tasks as a Runner through the Service, and for other legitimate interests, including TaskRunner's and Clients' interest in you being suitable and qualified for tasks as a Runner.
• To communicate with you. Your contact details (including email and phone number) may be used to send you notifications, push notifications and messages, for example about new tasks that suit you, that you have received a new bid or comment, and other information about the Service. This is done in order to provide you with the Service and for other legitimate interests, including TaskRunner's interest in brokering tasks through the Service. You can turn different types of notifications on and off in your settings in the Service, as well as on your phone.
• To locate you. Location information is used to locate you, among other things so that, as a Runner, you can see available task requests nearby. Location information is used in the same way so that, as a Client, you can, for example, see Runners nearby. Location information is also used to send notifications about relevant tasks near you. When you enable the "Locate me" feature in the Service, you consent to location information about you being collected and shared. This feature is entirely optional to use, and you can turn it off again at any time in your browser or phone.
• To provide support. Your personal data may need to be used to investigate, respond to and resolve complaints and problems with the Service or a task. This is done in order to provide you with the Service and for other legitimate interests, including TaskRunner's interest in the Service functioning flawlessly, so that tasks can be brokered between Runners and Clients.
• To handle insurance claims. Your personal data may need to be used to handle insurance claims, for example where you, as a Runner or a Client, have caused or suffered damage. This is necessary so that you can benefit from the insurance TaskRunner has taken out for your benefit.
• To produce aggregated statistics. Your personal data may be used to produce statistics in aggregated form, where the information is not identifiable. Statistics may, for example, relate to recurring types of task, average prices, and the age distribution and geographic spread of users of the Service. This is done on the basis of legitimate interests, including TaskRunner's interest in developing and improving the Service and its use.
• To develop and improve the Service. Device information and aggregated statistics may be used as a basis for continuing to develop and improve the Service and the user experience. This is done on the basis of legitimate interests, including TaskRunner's interest in developing and making the Service more efficient.

5. How long your data is kept

Your personal data is only kept for as long as it is needed to fulfil the purpose of the processing. Unfortunately, it is not possible to state in advance exactly how long this is for all information. Generally speaking, your personal data is kept in the Service for as long as you keep your user account.

Personal data processed on the basis of your consent (e.g. location information) is deleted from the Service if you withdraw your consent. Note that this does not affect TaskRunner's right to process the information before the withdrawal.

However, your personal data may sometimes need to be kept for a longer period, if required to comply with legal obligations. These obligations arise, among other things, from accounting and tax legislation. If your information must be kept because of legal obligations, it will only be used to fulfil those obligations and for nothing else.

6. Your data is shared with others

Your personal data may sometimes need to be transferred to, or shared with, others. For example, your personal data may be shared with:

• People who work for us. Your personal data will be shared with people who work at TaskRunner, but only people who need access to it in order to do their jobs.
• Runners, Clients and other visitors. Parts of your personal data will be visible to other users and visitors in the Service, including your first name and the first letter of your last name, city, your profile picture and any description. However, no private or sensitive information (e.g. personal identity number or a copy of your passport or ID) will be visible to others in the Service. A Runner's name, address and personal identity number will be shared with Clients who need to submit a control statement (kontrolluppgift) for the task, i.e. where the task's bid is higher than 1,000 kr. If someone has left a review about you, this will also be visible to others in the Service. Messages you send in private chat can only be seen by the recipient, while messages under "questions and answers" are publicly visible to all users and visitors until the task has been assigned. Note that parts of the Service where your personal data may appear are visible openly online and can therefore be seen by visitors other than Runners and Clients.
• Suppliers and subcontractors. Your personal data may need to be transferred to, or shared with, selected companies that provide various types of services to us. These companies may only process your personal data in accordance with our instructions. For example, the Service is hosted and provided from the cloud platforms Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
• GigaPay. TaskRunner works with GigaPay to facilitate salary payments to Runners. If you use GigaPay, we will share your personal data (name, personal identity number, contact details and your bank details) with them. GigaPay needs this information in order to administer your salary payments and your employment with them. GigaPay is the data controller for how your data is processed by them. • If Skadeförsäkring. Your personal data will be shared with If Skadeförsäkring if necessary to handle an insurance claim concerning you. If is the data controller for how your data is processed by them. You can read more about how If processes your personal data in their privacy policy.
• Google. When you enable the "Locate me" feature in the Service, Google will collect and process information about your current geographic position. Google uses this information to calculate and return your geographic position to the Service. Google is the data controller for how your data is processed by them. • Verifiera. When you apply to become a Runner, a background check is carried out via verifiera.se. We do not save or archive the background check itself. We only note whether you have been approved or not. Verifiera is the data controller for how your data is processed by them. You can read more and get in touch with Verifiera here
• Stripe. The payment solution in the Service is provided by Stripe. Stripe will be given access to parts of your personal data (including phone number, first name, last name, card details and transaction data) in order to process payments between the Client, the Runner and us. • Authorities. TaskRunner may disclose necessary information to authorities such as the Police, the Swedish Tax Agency or other authorities, if we are required to do so by law or if you have consented to us doing so.
• Sale. TaskRunner may share your personal data with a potential buyer of TaskRunner's business or assets. However, we will of course never sell your personal data separately to a third party unless you have consented to it.

7. Your data may be processed outside the EU/EEA

TaskRunner always strives to process your personal data within the EU/EEA. However, in some cases your personal data will need to be transferred to companies outside the EU/EEA. For example, your personal data will be transferred to Stripe and Google, which will, among other things, process your data in the USA.

You should be aware that different rules may apply to your personal data outside the EU/EEA, which can sometimes mean a lower level of protection. TaskRunner will, however, ensure that all reasonable legal, technical and organisational measures are in place to make sure your personal data is handled securely and with an adequate level of protection (e.g. Privacy Shield).

8. Cookies

Like many others, TaskRunner uses cookies and similar technologies in the Service to collect device information. You can read more about this in our cookie policy. You can control your cookie settings in your browser settings.

9. Your rights

It is your personal data. You therefore have the right to receive information about, and to influence, how your personal data is processed by us. Below is a short summary of your rights.

• Right to object to processing. You have the right to object to your personal data being processed on the basis of legitimate interests. If you do, we must either prove that there are legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, or stop the processing. You can always contact us for more information about the balancing of interests that has been carried out.
• Right to access and move your data. You can request a copy of your personal data at any time, along with information about how it has been obtained, used, shared, etc. The first copy is free. For further copies we may charge a reasonable fee. You also have the right to transfer your personal data to another data controller.
• Right to erasure. You have the right to request that your personal data be deleted if it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or if there is no legal basis for processing the data.
• Right to rectification of incorrect data. You have the right to request that incorrect personal data be corrected. You also have the right to have incomplete personal data completed. You can change many of your details yourself directly in the Service.
• Right to restriction. You have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted until incorrect data has been corrected, or an objection from you has been investigated.
