What counts as tech help at TaskRunner?

Tech help covers most tech troubles at home, for example TV and media, smart home products, sound systems and WiFi or internet. If you can't find your service in the list, describe the job in your request and we'll help you find the right solution.

What does tech help cost?

There are two ways to book. Send a request and you get bids from Runners based on the size of the job. Prefer a fixed price? You can also book through TechBuddy, our sister company, at 499 kr per hour after the RUT deduction.

Can the Runner help me set up a sound system?

Yes, whether it's a home cinema or a simpler sound system, your Runner helps you through the whole installation, from speaker placement to connecting and configuring the system.

Do I need to know a lot about tech myself to book help?

No, you don't. Describe what's not working or what you want to install in your request, and your Runner takes it from there.

Does the RUT deduction apply to tech help?

Yes, tech help through TaskRunner is RUT-eligible. This means you only pay 50% of the labour cost yourself. The deduction is applied directly on the invoice.

Is the job insured?

Yes, every job carried out through TaskRunner is insured through If. You can read more about what the insurance covers on our insurance page.

Can I cancel if I change my mind?

Yes, you can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the job is due to be carried out. Cancelling or rescheduling within 24 hours incurs a fee. If the job is booked for the same day, it unfortunately can't be cancelled. If you've hired a Runner but no longer want the help, it's your responsibility to cancel. If we don't hear from you in the chat, a cancellation fee of 199 kr may apply.
