What's included in help with WiFi and internet?
Your Runner troubleshoots and optimises your home network, for example by moving the router to a better spot, setting up a mesh network or running a network cable, so you get stable coverage throughout your home.
Why is WiFi weak in some parts of the home?
It's usually down to distance from the router, walls and materials that disrupt the signal, or the router being in a poor spot. Your Runner can help you find the cause and suggest a solution, for example better placement or a mesh network with several nodes.
Can the Runner help with anything other than WiFi, like a printer?
Yes, your Runner can help you with most things related to network installation, for example setting up and connecting a printer. Describe what you need help with in your request, so the Runner knows what to expect.
What affects the price of help with WiFi and internet?
The price depends partly on the type of installation and whether cable runs are needed. Send a request and describe the job, and you'll get bids from Runners who can help you.
Does the RUT deduction apply to help with WiFi and internet?
Yes, help with WiFi and internet through TaskRunner is RUT-eligible. This means you only pay 50% of the labour cost yourself. The deduction is applied directly on the invoice.
Is the job insured?
Yes, every job carried out through TaskRunner is insured through If. You can read more about what the insurance covers on our insurance page.
Can I cancel if I change my mind?
Yes, you can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the job is due to be carried out. Cancelling or rescheduling within 24 hours incurs a fee. If the job is booked for the same day, it unfortunately can't be cancelled. If you've hired a Runner but no longer want the help, it's your responsibility to cancel. If we don't hear from you in the chat, a cancellation fee of 199 kr may apply.
