Why does timing matter for trimming and pruning?

Different plants do best when trimmed or pruned at different times of year — the wrong timing can damage the plant or affect how it flowers and grows next season. Your Runner knows what suits your particular hedge, bush or tree type best.

What do I need to describe to get the right help?

The more you describe, the easier it is for your Runner to plan correctly. Please state how large the tree or bush is, whether you have tools on site or the Runner needs to bring their own, and what you want to achieve with the trimming.

Can the Runner prune large trees?

The service covers smaller trees. If it's a larger tree that requires special equipment or tree felling, let us know in your request and we'll help you find the right solution.

What affects the price of trimming and pruning?

The price depends partly on how large the hedges, bushes or trees are, what tools are needed and how long the job is expected to take. Send a request and describe the job, and you'll get bids from Runners who can help you.

Does the RUT deduction apply to trimming and pruning?

Yes, trimming and pruning through TaskRunner qualifies for the RUT deduction. This means you pay only 50% of the labour cost yourself. The deduction is applied directly on the invoice.

Is the job insured?

Yes, every job carried out through TaskRunner is insured through If. You can read more about what the insurance covers on our insurance page.

Can I cancel if I change my mind?

Yes, you can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the job is due to be carried out. Cancelling or rescheduling within 24 hours incurs a fee. If the job is booked for the same day, it unfortunately can't be cancelled. If you've hired a Runner but no longer want the help, it's your responsibility to cancel. If we don't hear from you in the chat, a cancellation fee of 199 kr may apply.
