What's included in the Rubbish to the Recycling Centre service?
Your Runner collects your bulky waste, old furniture or other rubbish and drives it to the nearest recycling centre, so you don't have to make the trip yourself.
What does it cost to get help with rubbish to the recycling centre?
There are no fixed prices. You describe the job, and interested Runners place bids based on what they think it requires. You then choose which Runner to hire based on the bid, their profile and previous reviews. A typical price range is between 300 and 1,500 kronor, depending on how much needs to be driven and the distance to the recycling centre.
Is the recycling centre fee included in the price?
It depends on what you agree with your Runner, but it's common for the recycling centre fee to be included in the total price. Feel free to ask your Runner about this before confirming the job, so you know exactly what's included.
What kind of rubbish can the Runner take?
Your Runner can help you with most things — for example furniture, clothes, plastic, china, glass, paper, cardboard, building and renovation waste, appliances and garden waste. Describe what needs to go in your request, so the Runner knows what to expect.
Can the Runner drop things off at a second-hand shop instead of throwing them away?
Yes, if you have things that are still in good condition, such as clothes or furniture, your Runner can drive them to a second-hand shop instead of the recycling centre. Describe this in your request so it can be planned in.
Is the job insured?
Yes, every job carried out through TaskRunner is insured through If. You can read more about what the insurance covers on our insurance page.
Can I cancel if I change my mind?
Yes, you can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the job is due to take place. Cancelling or rebooking within 24 hours incurs a fee. If the job is booked and due to take place the same day, unfortunately it can't be cancelled. If you've hired a Runner but no longer want the help, it's your responsibility to cancel. If we don't hear from you in the chat, a cancellation fee of 199 kronor may apply.
