PAX wardrobe assembly

What does the service include?

Assembling a PAX wardrobe means a Runner puts together the frame, fits the doors (hinged or sliding) and installs the interior fittings you've chosen — shelves, drawers and rails. PAX has many parts and specific assembly steps, so it goes faster and more safely with an experienced assembler.

Frequently asked questions

Here are answers to the most common questions before you book.

Why are PAX wardrobes hard to assemble yourself?

PAX has many parts, various interior fitting choices and sliding doors that have to go in in exactly the right order to glide smoothly. If the wardrobe is large, it usually also takes two people to hold the parts in place during assembly. That's why it often takes longer, and mistakes happen easily if you're not used to it.

Do I need to have tools myself?

No, your Runner brings what's needed, for example a spirit level, screwdriver, tape measure and step ladder. What you need to have ready is the wardrobe package itself and a space where the parts can be laid out during assembly.

Does the PAX wardrobe need to be secured to the wall?

Yes, that's always recommended, especially for taller wardrobes. A secured wardrobe sits more safely and doesn't risk toppling over. Your Runner brings the right tools to do it correctly, whatever your wall type.

Can the Runner assemble the sliding doors too?

Yes. Sliding doors are one of the trickiest parts of PAX assembly. They have to sit in the right order and be correctly adjusted to glide evenly. Your Runner has experience with exactly that part and makes sure it's right from the start.

Does the RUT deduction apply to PAX wardrobe assembly?

Yes, assembling a PAX wardrobe through TaskRunner qualifies for the RUT deduction. This means you only pay 50% of the labour cost yourself. The deduction is applied directly on the invoice.

Is the job insured?

Yes, all jobs carried out through TaskRunner are insured through If. You can read more about what the insurance covers on our insurance page.

Can I cancel if I change my mind?
