Frequently asked questions

Here are answers to the most common questions before you book.

Why do bunk beds and loft beds need extra care during assembly?

This is about the children's safety — the fixings, ladder and guard rail all have to sit exactly right. Your Runner follows the manufacturer's instructions carefully and tests that the bed is stable before the job is finished, so you can feel confident in the result.

Do I need to be two people to help?

No, you don't need to be. Bunk beds and loft beds are often heavy and bulky, and therefore normally require two people to assemble safely. Your Runner makes sure there's enough help on site — you don't need to be there holding parts during the assembly.

If the bed comes with a desk or storage, does that make it harder to assemble?

Yes, if the bed comes together with a built-in desk or extra storage, the assembly becomes more extensive, since more parts need to fit together and be correctly secured. Describe what's included in your request, so your Runner knows what to expect.

Does the RUT deduction apply to assembling a bunk bed or loft bed?

Yes, assembling a bunk bed or loft bed through TaskRunner qualifies for the RUT deduction. This means you only pay 50% of the labour cost yourself. The deduction is applied directly on the invoice.

Is the job insured?

Yes, all jobs carried out through TaskRunner are insured through If. You can read more about what the insurance covers on our insurance page.

Can I cancel if I change my mind?

Yes, you can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the job is due to be carried out. If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours, a fee applies. If the job is booked and due to be carried out the same day, it unfortunately cannot be cancelled. If you have hired a Runner but no longer want the help, it is your responsibility to cancel. If we hear nothing from you in the chat, a cancellation fee of 199 kronor may apply.
