Do I need two people to assemble a sofa?
Often yes, especially for larger sofas and modular sofas where the parts are heavy and bulky. Booking a Runner means you avoid both the heavy lifting and the need to find another person to help.
What does assembling a sofa involve?
Your Runner assembles the modules, fits the legs and makes sure the upholstery sits correctly, according to the manufacturer's instructions. The goal is a sofa that's ready to sit in straight after assembly.
Do I need to prepare anything before the Runner arrives?
It's good if you've already cleared space where the sofa is going to stand, and protected the floor if you're worried about damage during assembly. If you have the sofa's instructions to hand, that also speeds things up, but it's not a requirement.
What affects the price of assembling a sofa?
The price depends on things like the sofa's size, how many sofas need to be assembled, how many assembly steps are involved and whether two people are required. If you also need carrying help or transport, that can be added to the same job.
Does the RUT deduction apply to assembling a sofa?
Yes, assembling a sofa through TaskRunner qualifies for the RUT deduction. This means you only pay 50% of the labour cost yourself. The deduction is applied directly on the invoice.

Can I cancel if I change my mind?
Yes, you can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the job is due to be carried out. If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours, a fee applies. If the job is booked and due to be carried out the same day, it unfortunately cannot be cancelled. If you have hired a Runner but no longer want the help, it is your responsibility to cancel. If we hear nothing from you in the chat, a cancellation fee of 199 kronor may apply.
